Evidence should describe the product, not just the supplier.
Review the applicable standard, tested configuration, document owner and production test route before approving a transformer or power supply.
Affiliated production
Quality evidence is reviewed against the exact manufacturing entity, product model and production scope. Certificate files are supplied after the legal entity, scope and validity have been verified.
Configuration specific
Electrical ratings, drawings, routine tests, declarations and labels are checked against the shipped configuration. A generic certificate is not assumed to cover every custom variant.
Approved revision
Changes to winding, core, insulation, potting, terminals or ratings follow a documented review before repeat production.
500VA inspection report
View an anonymised customer-reference copy of a 500VA control-transformer inspection record. It documents one sample and is not a product certification.
What an equipment team should request.
- Approved electrical and mechanical drawing
- Applicable standards and declaration scope
- Type evidence or test reports for the configuration
- Routine test plan and batch record
- Material and finish declarations where required
- Label, packaging and traceability requirements
Match the evidence to the destination.
State the final equipment, classification and target market in the inquiry so the required technical and compliance route can be reviewed.
